Cogora has been shortlisted for three awards at the PPA Independent Publisher Awards.

PPA Independent Publisher Awards

Cogora has been shortlisted for Independent Publishing Company of the Year, Pulse is up for Business Publication of the Year and Jaimie Kaffash is up for Editor of the Year for his work as editor of Pulse.

The success of our recent launch of education and events platforms Pulse 365 and Nursing in Practice 365 which has seen year-on-year increases in face-to-face event registration and revenue put us amongst a shortlist of only six publishers of similar size at the PPA Independent Publisher Awards.

It was this success as well as an overall increase in traffic and monthly ad impressions across all our media brands, the launch of the new products Pulse Reference and Nursing in Practice Reference and Cogora being granted approval by ‘Great Place to Work’, after 85% of our employees named Cogora as a great place to work, that helped win us our nomination.

Whilst Pulse’s groundbreaking investigations and shocking exclusives which have led to an increase in monthly ad impressions and year on year print and digital revenue growth, helped put the brand in the running for Business Publication of the Year and Jaimie as Editor of the Year.

Pulse extending its lead as the best-read magazine among GPs over its competitor BMJ also helped secure the nomination.

The winners will be announced on November 24th at the PPA Independent Publisher Awards ceremony in London.
