Webinar exploring commissioning for what matters to people

Delivered in partnership with Pulse PCN and Healthcare Leader, this webinar will offer practical insight to support stronger commissioning decisions and more person-centred services.

Titled ‘Commissioning for what matters: Embedding patient-centred outcomes into clinical services’, this one-hour webinar takes place at 11am on 13 October. Attendees are invited to explore how person-centred outcomes, including wellbeing, independence, social participation and quality of life, can be embedded into commissioning, service design and delivery.

Focusing on people with complex health and social care needs, this free webinar will examine how investment beyond traditional clinical pathways can improve outcomes and reduce pressure on services.

Drawing on the High Intensity Use of Services model, it will explore multi-sector approaches to tackling health inequalities, delivering more care in the community and advancing neighbourhood health, prevention and self-management.

The webinar will help delegates understand how person-centred outcomes can be embedded into commissioning and service design; explore how integrated health, community and voluntary sector approaches can improve outcomes and reduce inequalities; and apply practical commissioning approaches that support prevention, early intervention and neighbourhood-based care. Delegates will also hear perspectives from a commissioner, clinician and service provider on collaborative working.
