Management in Practice salary survey launches
Management in Practice has launched its second practice manager salary survey to gauge pay levels and benefits within the profession.

The 2026 report will build on findings from the 2024 salary survey report but new this year will be data on practice manager partner earnings – giving a more comprehensive picture of the profession’s income levels.
Practice manger partners are business owners of a GP practice in the same way as GP partners and are increasing in numbers as they bring an invaluable set of skills to general practice.
Our survey aims to uncover the range of their earnings as well as the different financial models partnerships put in place to reward non-clinical partners.
The survey will also provide detail on:
- Practice manager pay ranges including across different regions
- The size of the budgets practice managers control, in particular how many are multi-million pound budgets
- What benefits packages are offered, including monetary bonuses
- How competitive pay rises are
- Job satisfaction among the profession
- How well practice managers are supported with their wellbeing.
The full report is due to be published in early Autumn.
Management in Practice editor, Rima Evans, said: ‘Our 2024 salary survey report was highly successful and proved to be a useful pay benchmarking tool for practices.
Our 2026 report will provide even more essential data on pay, benefits and workplace trends and, in response to feedback, cover practice manager partner earnings too.’
