IOTOD Summer Webinar 2025
We are pleased to announce the upcoming IOTOD (Improving Outcomes in the Treatment of Opioid Dependence) Summer webinar, ‘Reach. Reconnect. Retain: Solutions for Engaging High-Risk OUD Patients,’ will take place online on Wednesday 3rd September.
This 60-minute IOTOD Summer webinar will be led by leading experts Dr Steve Brinksman, Clinical Director of SMMGP and Medical Director for Cranstoun, and Mr Daniel Ahmed, Clinical Director for Cranstoun, Clinical Partner at Foundations, and Senior Clinician at Addictions Professionals.
Developed by our CME division, PCM Scientific, this free live event will explore the reasons why some patients become refractory to opioid use disorder treatment, and whether specific patient populations may be more prone to treatment resistance.
Our expert speakers will also outline practical strategies for re-engaging these hard-to-reach patients, sharing real-world examples of how to reconnect them with addiction therapy - without repeating previously ineffective treatments. The session will conclude with a live Q&A.
The IOTOD Summer webinar is suitable for both primary and secondary care clinicians seeking to enhance the care and management of patients with opioid dependency.
The event will be promoted through Cogora’s media brands to our community of healthcare professionals across the UK and Europe - including addiction specialists, pain specialists, GPs, primary care nurses, psychiatrists, and community pharmacists.
This follows the success of our IOTOD Winter Webinar, which is available to watch free on-demand on the IOTOD website.
