The recent ASK Uveal Melanoma webinar welcomed our community of HCPs to discover more about the recognition, diagnosis and clinical significance of this rare disease that poses a significant challenge for clinicians.

ASK Uveal Melanoma webinar

Designed to enhance Attitude, Skills and Knowledge surrounding uveal melanoma diagnosis and management, this educational webinar, titled ‘Staring you straight in the eyes: uveal melanoma’, provided multidisciplinary HCPs an expert-led introduction to the disease and its impact on patients.

This webinar brought together an international expert faculty to discuss the fundamentals of the disease, helping HCPs build confidence in its identification and understanding its clinical pathway.

The ASK Uveal Melanoma webinar was delivered by Professor Sarah Coupland, ophthalmic pathology co-lead at Liverpool Clinical Laboratories, Royal Liverpool University Hospital, UK; Dr Sophie Piperno-Neumann, medical oncologist at the leading French cancer treatment and research centre, the Curie Institute, in Paris, France; and Professor Antonia M. Joussen, chair of ophthalmology and vitreoretinal surgeon at Charité – University Medicine Berlin, Germany.

HCPs from across Europe attended live, including ocular oncologists, ophthalmologists, medical oncologists, interventional radiologists, oncology nurse specialists, and ophthalmology clinical nurse specialists. The event was promoted via our media brand Hospital Healthcare Europe.

The webinar is now available for our audience to watch on demand.
