General Practice Awards 2026 shortlist revealed

The wait is over: the shortlist for the General Practice Awards 2026 has officially been announced, recognising the exceptional people, teams, and organisations making a difference across primary care.

Now in its 18th year, the awards celebrate achievement across the sector, from outstanding patient care and teamwork to innovation, leadership and collaborative working.

This year, the judges considered more than 300 entries across 22 categories, spanning primary care and healthcare suppliers. The high standard of submissions made selecting the finalists no easy task, with entries showcasing the dedication, ingenuity and impact seen throughout general practice and community healthcare.

The shortlisted individuals and teams include GPs, nurses, practice managers, pharmacists, primary care networks and multidisciplinary teams, alongside the organisations and suppliers supporting them. Together, they reflect the breadth of talent and progress shaping the future of primary care.

The finalists will be celebrated at a glitzy black-tie ceremony on Friday 4 December, bringing the primary care community together for an evening of recognition, entertainment and celebration.

Tickets are now available for finalists, colleagues, friends, and supporters who would like to join the occasion and celebrate the remarkable achievements of this year’s nominees.
