Our latest case study looks at how Cogora developed an educational handbook on on supporting diabetes management for UK primary care practitioners, in partnership with Dexcom.

Dexcom handbooks

Following the latest NICE guidance for treating children and adults with type 1 diabetes and adults meeting criteria with type 2 diabetes, Dexcom, a company which develops continuous glucose monitoring systems for diabetes management, sought to educate GPs, primary care nurses and pharmacists about its benefits.

It aimed to highlight how real-time continuous glucose monitoring can help improve the lives of people with diabetes, and how HCPs can support their patients to maximise the benefits of this technology.

To achieve this, Cogora developed a handbook on supporting diabetes management. Our handbooks are an effective way to communicate educational or product-centred messaging, through the creation of a visually appealing A5 handbook, written and designed by Cogora.

Such KOL-led education increases knowledge and gives self-confidence to HCPs when evolving their practice, helping to drive change forward.

Then, by utilising our media brands, Pulse, Nursing in Practice and The Pharmacist, for targeted distribution, we ensured the handbook on supporting diabetes management reached key decision-makers across primary care.
