Cogora: The Agency

Engaging Events and Educational Webinars

Earlier this month, team successfully hosted the IOTOD Summer webinar, engaging over 200 live attendees in a lively expert discussion. The questions kept coming and the event ran overtime to ensure all were addressed. Impressively, 80% audience stayed throughout to benefit from the teaching provided.

Building on this momentum, the following week saw Prof. Sir Jonathan Van-Tam deliver a compelling educational session at Pulse 365, attended live by 500 healthcare professionals. It was a pleasure for the team to support him with content development to maximise impact.

Upcoming Meetings and Expert Engagement

Planning is under way for a Nominal Group Technique (NGT) meeting scheduled for November. This meeting will bring together 10 experts from the UK, Europe, and the US with the objective being to gain insights into the potential signs and clinical indicators of MLD. In-depth, pre meeting interviews with all experts have already been completed to ensure productive discussions.

One of Cogora: The Agency's client is launching the first and only omalizumab biosimilar across Europe and the team is proud to be delivering an account-led expert roadshow. Taking place across Leeds, Southampton and London, the team have been coordinating expert speakers, dates and venues this month. An insightful agenda is being developed that will focus on national and local healthcare provision for severe asthma and chronic spontaneous urticaria.

Patient and Healthcare Resources

The team is currently developing a series of infographics tailored to patients, as well as primary and secondary care providers for alopecia areata (AA) and atopic dermatitis (AD). The resources will offer practical tips, signposting to helpful resources, and support and guidance on the management of patient care.

In addition, we are finalising a guide for nurses in collaboration with a key opinion leader. This visual and practical guide will help nurses care for patients using our specific medical devices, with the copy near completion and layout of the design soon to follow.

After several months of dedicated work, the team has also successfully uploaded engaging educational resources highlighting the benefits of a treatment for insomnia onto a sponsored paged on Pulse, expanding reach among healthcare professionals

Research and Strategic Insights

We are progressing with a research programme designed to provide strategic insights into opportunities for automated unit dose dispensing systems. This will involve focus groups with pharmacists, procurement, and informatics managers across key European countries.

Meanwhile, key paper summaries have been developed and submitted to a client for review. These will inform a decision tree on use of medical devices depending on patient needs.

Finally, the team is finalising a manuscript to be submitted for publication this month, evidencing the benefits of the transperineal prostate biopsy technique in minimising pain and complications during prostate biopsy.
