Cogora: The Agency – May digest

The Cogora: The Agency team have had an extremely busy month, working across several different therapy areas.

The beginning of the month came with two annual congresses: the Annual Meeting of the European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOPE) and the European Congress of Endocrinology (ECE).  

We chatted to patients with chronic insomnia, with the hopes that some of these people will feel comfortable participating in a steering group later this year. 

The team conducted interviews with healthcare professionals in dermatology to find out more about the processes involved in transitioning patients from paediatric care to adult care, what the gaps are, and how we can help improve these processes for young people. We completed 16 interviews in the first week, with more to come!

Additionally, the team have been working hard conducting a systematic review on metastatic uveal melanoma, attending meetings with the authors – key opinion leaders in the area – to gain their insights and to ensure alignment on the goals of the article.

Finally, the team attended an advisory board on rare disease, speaking with key opinion leaders to determine how we can make medicine more accessible, with the report write up due to start soon.
