This month, Cogora: The Agency have been busy working with a myriad of communication formats – appropriate for the month that includes MedComms day!

Cogora: The Agency

The team have been working on the development of two key assets for a client working in the medical devices space:

  • A Best Practice Guide for Nurses, aimed at supporting nurses to confidently manage home catheter drainage and improve patient outcomes.
  • A Product Competition Reference Guide, designed to equip the client’s teams with clear, strategic insights into the competitive landscape.

Following a productive kick-off with the client, the Agency has been conducting thorough background and desk research to ensure both pieces are informed by current data and tailored to the client’s strategic objectives.

The Cogora: The Agency team has also begun reviewing and summarising key literature to support development of a treatment algorithm. This work is designed to help healthcare professionals (HCPs) to decide which medical devices to employ in different contexts, to ensure appropriate decisions are made for patients.

In support of HCPs initiating uptake of clinically beneficial services in their institutions, the team have been busy developing two business case templates. Both involving vascular access, these business case templates aim to build a case for changing systems – supporting the implementation of change through practical evidence.

Ahead of an exciting virtual advisory board in the pipeline for later this year, pre-meeting interviews with experts are underway. These engaging conversations are enabling us to understand different clinical experiences and viewpoints that will contribute to the wider discussion, aiming to develop a framework to improve early diagnosis of a rare paediatric disease.

Our team is similarly focused on a new educational roadshow taking place in coming months, addressing respiratory health. We’re currently in the early stages of the project, having conducted internal and client kick-off meetings to align on objectives, deliverables, and timelines. This foundational phase is key to ensuring a clear strategic direction and smooth execution as we move forward.
