With the start of the year a number of new projects have kicked off for Cogora: The Agency!

Cogora: The Agency

Cogora: The Agency submitted an abstract on behalf of a client for the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) Annual Scientific Meeting in June. The abstract covers emerging data relating to healthcare provider (HCP) and patient experience with the use of the transperineal prostate biopsy technique, which they are exploring in a developing publication.

The team kicked off a new business case template project, with a second due to follow shortly. The template will focus on defining and exampling the key elements that clinicians will use to build a business case for a change in strategy for their institution, including project governance, scientific rationale and evidence, benefits and potential risks, and financial implications.

As part of a project to investigate treatment pathways for atopic dermatitis and alopecia areata, the first 2 rounds of a planned 3-round Delphi consensus survey have been completed, with consensus already reached on a number of issues. The results of the survey will be examined at an advisory board meeting in March to determine what steps can be taken to address the priority issues identified.

Cogora: The Agency have developed content for five disease awareness booklets, which they are now refining with the client and designing to increase visual appeal with the help of the studio team. These educational booklets will be for internal and external use and the bespoke content of each topic will be adapted to suit the topic, touching on the background of the disease, the burden and challenges and guideline recommendations on treatment.

The team started a new project to support a client with a satellite symposium at the ESMO Sarcoma and Rare Cancers Congress 2025 in Lugano, Switzerland, in March. The team are excited to continue working with this client after delivery of 5 successful symposia in 2024. To further support this client, the team are also assisting in the refreshing of some marketing materials to be used at congresses throughout the year.

The 10th meeting of the vascular access management clinical advisory board happened in December and resulted in the decision to kick off a new practical tips and tricks podcast series and a VAM guidelines project charter, which the team are excited to make a start on this month.
