This month, Cogora: The Agency have successfully delivered two key advisory boards, supporting both patient and healthcare professional engagement.

Cogora: The Agency

The first was a virtual Patient Advisory Board, attended by six individuals living with a chronic condition. Their personal insights and lived experiences provided valuable perspectives that will help shape future initiatives. The discussion was rich and collaborative, with exciting opportunities for continued patient involvement moving forward.

The second was an HCP Advisory Board held in Las Vegas, strategically scheduled ahead of the INS 2025 conference. The session focused on needle-free connectors, with the key objective of exploring their role in reducing catheter-related complications.

The full-day, face-to-face meeting brought together 10 leading experts—comprising a mix of nurses and physicians—who shared their insights and experiences. Together, they worked to identify practical outputs that can support healthcare professionals in overcoming the challenges associated with needle-free connectors during intravenous access.

With just two weeks to go, the team has been busy finalising a project to support a client at the joint ESE and ESPE 2025 Congress in Copenhagen.

They are supporting the delivery of two satellite symposia, and the team has been actively involved in preparing a range of marketing materials, as well as working closely with speakers to refine and enhance their presentations.

The team is looking forward to attending the congress in May and seeing the results of this collaborative effort come to life.

In preparation for the congress, the team is also finalising two new product brochures, which will be showcased to HCPs at the client’s exhibition booth.

One of the key projects initiated by the agency team in Q4 last year is now nearing completion. The project involves the development of a series of five scientific and educational booklets, each covering a distinct topic. These booklets are designed to provide clear and engaging overviews of the disease background, associated burden and challenges, and relevant guideline recommendations.

With just one booklet left to finalise, the series will soon be ready for distribution.

The team has been actively supporting the development and submission of two manuscripts as part of our ongoing scientific communications work.

The first manuscript, submitted to BMJ Open, presents a comparative analysis of reference documents related to device-associated complications. They are currently awaiting feedback from the journal.

The second manuscript, submitted to Supportive Care in Cancer, highlights the results of a European survey. We are also awaiting reviewer comments on this submission.

The team continues to develop a suite of engaging educational resources for GPs, to be hosted on Pulse. Among these, a GP-authored Quick Guide is well underway and scheduled to go live this summer.

In parallel, the team has supported a client in in preparing and submitting four abstracts based on insights from a recent Delphi survey and advisory board meeting.

These abstracts have been submitted to both the EADV 2025 and ESDaP 2025 congresses.
