Cogora shortlisted for three British Society of Magazine Editors awards
Cogora’s Director of Content and Editorial, Gemma Collins, Pulse Editor Sofia Lind and Pulse Editor-in-Chief Jaimie Kaffash, have been shortlisted for this year’s British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) awards.

Gemma has been shortlisted for ‘Editorial Director of the Year’ at the BSME Awards, Sofia for ‘New Editor of the Year’, and Jaimie has been nominated for ‘Innovator of the Year’.
Gemma’s work at the head of our eight media brands in driving audience engagement and generating new revenue streams through new types of content and products such as the newly launched Cogora Insight and the recent expansion of The Pharmacist, helped place her amongst a shortlist of five editorial directors from different UK business and consumer titles.
Whilst in her role as editor since November last year Sofia has pushed Pulse to lead the news agenda on the biggest stories in health, with national exclusives and impactful journalism, and our brand-new podcast, Pulse in Focus, which was launched this year.
Jaimie, who was Pulse editor for six years during Covid and overseeing its transition to fully digital, stepped into his new role last year, and was shortlisted for his work incorporating all the research-heavy content we produce as part of Cogora Insight, including our recent white paper looking into the GP unemployment crisis.
The BSME Awards recognise the work of the best editors, as well as standout art directors, writers and columnists, the best launches, and the most eye-catching covers.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on 27 November.
