Following a strong start to the year, Cogora Events has successfully delivered an extensive Q2 programme, further deepening educational support and networking opportunities for healthcare professionals across primary and secondary care.

Cogora Events

Throughout May and June, Cogora executed a highly successful schedule of standalone regional in-person conferences and high-impact virtual educational events, setting new benchmarks for audience engagement and attendance.

Q2 Highlights include:

  • Record-breaking GP engagement: Pulse Virtual events saw phenomenal turnouts for their multi-day clinical events. Pulse Virtual May, which focused on Chronic Conditions, Diabetes, and Dermatology welcomed 1,314 attendees over two days. This momentum carried directly into June, with the subsequent Pulse Virtual event welcoming 1,376 attendees over its two-day run.
  • Dedicated Vaccinations event success: Pioneering a new cross-sector educational format, Cogora launched its first-ever MDT Vaccinations event on 6 May. Bringing together GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and practice managers, the standalone virtual event welcomed 681 attendees, proving the high demand for shared, cross-discipline learning.
  • Nursing in Practice milestone: Nursing in Practice Virtual achieved an exceptional result on 4 June. The dedicated Respiratory and Women’s Health event drew 802 nurse attendees, marking a major success for the brand’s portfolio.
  • Regional Practice Management updates: Management in Practice delivered its vital standalone educational events in person for practice managers across key regional hubs, visiting Bristol (19 May), Manchester (2 June), and Birmingham (9 June).
  • Secondary care spotlight: In the secondary care sector, Hospital Healthcare Europe’s Clinical Excellence event focused on Respiratory Care on 12 May, providing a dedicated platform that welcomed 200 secondary care professionals.
  • Cross-sector collaboration: Marking a major milestone in integrated care, 21 June saw the rollout of the inaugural NPA Pharmacy Conference. Delivered in partnership with the National Pharmacy Association, the landmark standalone event successfully brought community pharmacy and general practice together to foster closer cross-sector collaboration.

Looking ahead to a high-growth H2:

Building on Q2's success, the upcoming autumn calendar features significant expansions and highly anticipated returns:

  • Expanded vaccinations portfolio: Following the exceptional feedback from May's vaccinations event, a second MDT Vaccinations virtual event is officially scheduled for 26 August.
  • Major regional in-person returns: In-person events will ramp up significantly through September, with joint visits to Newcastle for Pulse and Management in Practice. This will be followed by Pulse Glasgow, and a major milestone: for the first time since the pandemic, Nursing in Practice Glasgow will return to Scotland in person.
  • Flagship London return: September will also see the return of MIP London, one of the largest and most anticipated standalone events of the year for practice managers.
