Last month, the Cogora’s Events team held the first of a brand-new series of events, Clinical Essentials, for our primary care audience.

Clinical Essentials

Clinical Essentials, produced by Pulse 365 and Nursing in Practice 365, are one-day, in-person conferences dedicated to one or two clinical topics only, thus allowing attendees to deepen their knowledge in that particular area. The events are aimed at both GPs and nurses, with concurrent streams of talks to choose from.

On 20 June, almost 200 HCPs attended Clinical Essentials: Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes and Metabolic Health where talks ranged from ECG interpretation and arrhythmia to the role of primary care clinicians in the management of diabesity.

The events provide the clinical updates that GPs need to confidently treat their patients. Through a highly focused clinical agenda, the events allow delegates to network with like-minded GPs, sharing common challenges, have the chance to hear experts in the field, and to gain free CPD to put towards your portfolio.

Delegates praised the content, venue and catering for providing a valuable day out of practice.

‘Great refresher on current guidelines for management of cardiovascular disease, Diabetes and heart failure, with fab audience interaction and useful sponsors present’.

The next edition, in November, will focus on Respiratory conditions with a Women’s Health and Dermatology event planned for 2025.

The event will cover the latest advancements, evidence-based practices, and appropriate clinical decision-making strategies. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from experts on a specific clinical area, putting their questions to the speakers and discussing common presentations. They will gain best practice advice and clinical updates. This event also offers network opportunities as well as taking part in an engaging interactive quiz.

If these align with your therapeutic products and you would like to discuss exhibition and/or symposia at any upcoming events, please email [email protected].
