An e-learning module on Pulse 365, sponsored by Typharm Group, generated outstanding engagement amongst GPs.
Typharm Group partnered with Pulse 365 to deliver a CPD e-learning module to GPs, providing high-quality education on eczema and psoriasis and their impact on mental health.
With all GPs required to complete CPD activities annually to maintain their GMC registration, Pulse 365 offers a powerful way for clients to reach and engage with their target audience.
At Pulse 365, we collaborate closely with our clients to develop sponsored educational modules tailored to their needs. Our high-quality CPD modules cover over 27 clinical areas and are accessible in article, case based and video formats, designed to meet the diverse learning styles and time constraints of busy GPs.
This module on eczema and psoriasis was authored by Dr. Nisa Aslam, a GPwSI in dermatology, and included a module summary, an article-based lesson and post-learning assessment, as well as a Fludroxycortide Tape Application video guide, catering to different learning preferences.
The module provided an update on the key differences between eczema and psoriasis, with a focus on the often-overlooked mental health impacts of these conditions. It aimed to help GPs recognise these differences, understand the psychological challenges patients face, and identify appropriate therapies, including when to refer for additional support.
Working closely with the client, the KOL and our clinical team, we ensure the creation of high-quality, relevant educational content for our GP community, as well as meeting the client’s expectations and objectives.
Once live, the module was promoted to our community via an overview on Pulse, newsletter features, and social media – reaching over 45,000 GPs.
Upon completion, users complete learning points and reflections and download a certificate for their CPD record.
Typharm Group’s module delivered exceptional results, exceeding completion targets and receiving highly positive feedback.
266 module completions were generated against a target of 200 – a 33% increase.
