Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Digital team to support the promotion of our face-to-face and virtual events across seven established healthcare brands.

Salary: £38,000

You’ll work as part of the Digital team to plan and deliver marketing campaigns that drive registrations and ensure strong event attendance. You will be responsible for promoting a number of events within our portfolio.

This is a hybrid role, with time spent at our Central London office collaborating closely with editorial and events teams.

Responsibilities

Campaign planning & execution

  • Take ownership of marketing activity across a number of event portfolios from the outset

  • Create and maintain marketing plans for assigned events
  • Manage partnerships with relevant associations and organisations for your portfolios
  • Assist with the execution of marketing plans for events outside of your portfolio when required
  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across email, web, social and paid channels
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns are well-executed, compliant and aligned with brand guidelines

Content management

  • Write compelling marketing copy for acquisition and retention across multiple channels, including email, event websites, editorial content and social media
  • Maintain and update event websites to ensure accurate, engaging and conversion-focused content

Performance & optimisation

  • Apply a data-driven approach to campaign optimisation and event promotion
  • Optimise registration journeys, conversion performance and post-event engagement to help achieve attendance and revenue targets
  • Use data and insight to optimise performance, demonstrate ROI and inform future strategy
  • Monitor marketing trends and competitor activity to inform campaign strategy and innovation
  • Track and manage marketing budgets for assigned campaigns
  • Review the performance of your marketing, to optimise future campaigns and improve engagement and conversions.

Key skills

You’ll be a confident, commercially minded marketer who enjoys working across multiple brands and priorities.

You’ll likely bring:

  • Experience supporting or delivering marketing for live and virtual events (ideally 2+ years)
  • A collaborative team player who takes ownership of tasks and projects
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple campaigns (events) simultaneously
  • Ability to draft marketing copy to a high standard
  • Strong brand and campaign management experience across multiple channels
  • A data-led mindset with the ability to translate insight into action
  • Excellent all-round communication skills
  • Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working towards registration, attendance and engagement targets
  • Understanding of responsible data use including GDPR
  • Experience using marketing tools such as CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, analytics tools or CMS platforms is desirable

Healthcare experience is a plus, but not essential – we’re more interested in strong marketing fundamentals, curiosity and the ability to work at pace, whilst juggling multiple campaigns.
