Marketing Manager
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Digital team to support the promotion of bespoke commercial projects and face-to-face and virtual events across our portfolio of seven established healthcare media brands.
Salary: £38,000
This is a hybrid role, with time spent at our Central London office collaborating closely with editorial and events teams.
Responsibilities
Campaign planning & execution
- Take ownership of marketing activity across a portfolio of events and bespoke commercial projects from the outset
- Execute end-to-end marketing campaigns for both face-to-face and virtual events, and bespoke commercial projects
- Create and maintain marketing plans for assigned events and commercial campaigns, ensuring objectives, timelines and KPIs are clearly defined
- Manage partnerships with relevant associations, organisations, sponsors and commercial partners
- Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across email, web, social and paid channels
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns are well-executed, compliant and aligned with brand guidelines
- Support the promotion of a variety of bespoke projects across our media brands
Content management
- Write compelling marketing copy to drive acquisition, engagement and retention across multiple channels, including email, websites, editorial content, social media and commercial campaign assets
- Develop and adapt content and messaging to support both event marketing and bespoke commercial projects
- Maintain and update event and campaign landing pages to ensure content is accurate, engaging and conversion-focused
Performance & optimisation
- Apply a data-driven approach to campaign optimisation across events and bespoke commercial projects
- Optimise registration journeys, conversion rates and post-campaign engagement to help achieve attendance, commercial and revenue targets
- Use data and insight to evaluate campaign effectiveness, demonstrate ROI and inform future marketing strategy
- Monitor marketing trends, audience behaviour and competitor activity to identify opportunities for innovation and performance improvement
- Track and manage marketing budgets for assigned campaigns and projects
- Review campaign performance, produce post-campaign analysis and implement learnings to improve future engagement and conversions
Key skills
You’ll be a confident, commercially minded marketer who enjoys working across multiple brands and priorities.
You’ll likely bring:
- Experience supporting or delivering marketing for events (ideally 2+ years)
- A collaborative team player who takes ownership of tasks and projects
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Ability to draft marketing copy to a high standard
- Strong brand and campaign management experience across multiple channels
- A data-led mindset with the ability to translate insight into action
- Excellent all-round communication skills
- Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Comfortable working towards registration, attendance and engagement targets
- Understanding of responsible data use including GDPR
- Experience using marketing tools such as CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, analytics tools or CMS platforms is desirable
Healthcare experience is a plus, but not essential – we’re more interested in strong marketing fundamentals, curiosity and the ability to work at pace, whilst juggling multiple campaigns.
