The ASK Uveal Melanoma webinar series returns this October, inviting our community of secondary care healthcare professionals to explore the evolving treatment landscape for advanced and metastatic uveal melanoma.
ASK Uveal Melanoma delivers live and on-demand education for multidisciplinary HCPs, designed to enhance Attitude, Skills and Knowledge surrounding uveal melanoma diagnosis and management.
Taking place on Thursday 15th October at 5pm BST / 6pm CEST, this free 60-minute educational webinar, titled ‘Metastatic uveal melanoma – navigating the evolving treatment landscape’, will examine current treatment shortfalls and best-practice recommendations for patients with advanced or metastatic disease.
The treatment landscape for metastatic uveal melanoma continues to evolve, with new clinical evidence informing the use of systemic and local treatments, combination therapies and different sequencing strategies.
During the webinar, an expert faculty will provide an overview of current treatment options and unmet needs before exploring where the landscape is heading. The session will consider current limitations and clinical trials, including the latest efficacy and safety outcome data, as well as the biological rationale and emerging clinical evidence for combining percutaneous hepatic perfusion and immunotherapy.
Patient suitability, case-based application and the practical considerations surrounding treatment selection and sequencing will also be discussed.
The webinar will help HCPs confidently interpret the latest clinical data and apply this evidence when identifying appropriate treatment approaches for patients with advanced or metastatic uveal melanoma.
The event will be promoted via Hospital Healthcare Europe to our community of secondary care HCPs across the UK and Europe. This includes ocular oncologists, medical oncologists, dermato-oncologists, interventional radiologists, surgical oncologists and HPB surgeons, radiation oncologists, ophthalmologists, specialist nurses and oncology care coordinators.

The first ASK Uveal Melanoma webinar took place in June, where attendees learn more about the recognition, diagnosis and clinical significance of this rare disease that poses a significant challenge for clinicians.
