We are pleased to announce an exciting new chapter for Hospital Healthcare Europe as the brand streamlines its clinical focus and aligns more closely with Cogora’s primary care brands to support the shifting priorities of the NHS.

Hospital Healthcare Europe

As well as moving towards predominantly UK-focused content, Hospital Healthcare Europe is streamlining its clinical coverage to focus on a selection of core specialisms to ensure senior clinicians can find all the latest news, research, case studies and analysis all in the one place.

Aligning with primary care media

The UK healthcare landscape is experiencing a time of extraordinary change and amidst this transformation is a system buckling under strain.

Collaboration across sectors is therefore vital to embrace efficiencies, overhaul referral pathways, overcome unprecedented pressures and tackle elective care waiting lists – the ultimate aim being to optimise patient care and outcomes.

To support this, Hospital Healthcare Europe will continue to champion innovation and inspirational case studies from centres of excellence and other hospital Trusts across the four home nations of the UK, as well as spotlighting what these hospitals can learn from progress across Europe and further afield.

The brand’s three key pillars of sharing inspiring best practice, addressing unmet patient need and championing multidisciplinary working, will be retained and continue to influence our content and partnerships.

Core clinical specialisms

A streamlined content offering will mean the brand focuses on six core clinical specialisms: Cardiovascular, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Oncology (including Breast cancer, Lung cancer, Prostate cancer, GI cancers and Skin cancers), Respiratory and Rheumatology.

More regular content for each of these specialisms will feed into weekly bulletins, offering readers the chance to explore or revisit some of the most popular long reads from the past few weeks.

Digital campaigns can be targeted to specific audiences based on factors such as job title, the specific editorial content they are engaging with, or their past content consumption habits. This allows for the direct delivery of tailored marketing messages to particular groups of healthcare professionals.

The Clinical Excellence events series will also continue throughout 2026 to support learning and sharing of innovative ideas and developments directly with readers, with the first event on respiratory care scheduled for 12 May.

To coincide with this new strategy, a refreshed Hospital Healthcare Europe website is under construction – more details will be announced soon.

‘Reaching this key audience has never been easier’

Speaking about this new strategy, the brand’s editor Helena Beer said: ‘We’re delighted to introduce this new approach for Hospital Healthcare Europe, which will provide senior hospital clinicians with a bespoke destination to read about the latest developments in their clinical specialism and enhance their practice, and receive curated content directly to their inboxes on a more regular basis.

‘It also means reaching this key audience has never been easier for our clients, with even more opportunities to get tailored messaging across to the healthcare professionals who will benefit most. And whether that’s through targeted advertising, third-party emails, roundtables, content partnerships, handbooks, events or bespoke packages, we’re keen to work with you.

‘Our upcoming website transformation is an exciting addition to this brand refresh and my team and I are looking forward to showcasing it very soon.’
