Pulse revealed last week that health education bosses were discussing the probability of recruiting trained GPs from India, in an exclusive story that was picked up by most of the national newspapers. The Guardian, Daily Mail, Mirror, Telegraph, Times, Express, Sun and Daily Star covered the story, that came after a Pulse investigation showed that the Government was set to miss its target to recruit an additional 5, 000 GPs by 2020.
