Pulse’s annual Power 50 list celebrates those GPs who are providing a national voice for the profession, or making local changes that improve general practice for patients and colleagues.

Based on hundreds of nominations, the main list identifies GPs who are working at a national scale who have a real influence on the working lives of grassroots GPs.

But it also celebrates those Local Heroes who are doing great things locally, such as single-handedly maintaining maternity services on remote Scottish islands, or recruiting GPs to areas in dire need of staff.

It also identifies the Rising Stars – the GP leaders of tomorrow.

Now in its eighth year, Pulse’s Power 50 continues to be the definitive list of the GPs who are positively changing the profession across the UK.
