The inaugural Pulse LIVE Newcastle conference took place on 5th July at the Hilton Hotel, Newcastle. This was the first time Pulse LIVE has come to the north east and was very well received by attendees with 100% of survey respondents confirming they would recommend the event to a colleague.

Attendees heard from expert speakers who are working across primary care, networked with hundreds of their peers and colleagues, and explored a packed exhibition.

We welcomed over 200 GPs from across the UK, who were able to create personalised agendas, choosing from a wide range of topics across five concurrent streams of content.

Highlights of Pulse LIVE Newcastle 2017 included:

  • Our Big Interview with Dr Chaand Nagpaul, Chair of the BMA
  • The Big Discussion on cancer awareness schemes with Dr John Cosgrove, salaried GP and Dr Anant Sachdev, GP Cancer Lead
  • The wide range of topics covered across the Your Practice, Your Patients and Your Skills workshops
