This month saw the completion of the live Primary Care Respiratory Academy (PCRA) Commissioning Workshops and Community Pharmacy Meetings, and what an exciting series of events they have been!

Organised by Cogora: The Agency, these Workshops and Meetings across the country have provided commissioners, and community pharmacists with a deeper understanding of respiratory disease within the NHS Long Term Plan, the role of community pharmacists in the new primary care networks and how to deliver best possible respiratory care. Although the live meetings may be over, you can check out many of the companion digital resources at www.respiratoryacademy.com

The PCRA Clinical Roadshow is still underway, with events in Kensington, Slough, Watford and Belfast in the next few weeks. This year we have seen record registration numbers and have even had to close registration for several locations weeks before the events were to take place! If you miss out on one of our events, you can visit  www.respiratoryacademy.com for the latest digital resources for clinicians as well.  These resources have been designed to help all primary care health professionals deliver best possible respiratory care.

PCRA is partnered with different Cogora media brands to help reach the relevant healthcare professionals.

  • Clinical Platform: partnered with Pulse and Nursing in Practice, and suitable for a wide range of primary care clinicians including GPs, practice nurses, clinical pharmacists and more
  • Commissioning Platform: partnered with Healthcare Leader and Management in Practice, and targeted at individuals involved in the design and delivery of respiratory services
