Practice Intelligence, a new section on Management in Practice, has launched, offering readers expert advice and essential tips to help them with the day to day running of their GP practices.

PRACTICE INTELLIGENCE

Management in Practice Practice Intelligence offers business insight and practical know-how for practice managers, GP partners and primary care network managers.

It features content on a range of topics that surgeries find most challenging including on maximising profit, QOF, managing staff, leadership, employment law, recruitment, dealing with CQC inspections, and technology.

Readers can access guides, case studies and step-by step ‘how to’ pieces written by fellow practice managers and GPs. Other professionals from the fields of accountancy, recruitment HR, law, finance and whose specialism is in primary care, also heavily contribute to the section’s content.

Editor of Management in Practice Rima Evans said: ‘The aim is to build this section as a business intelligence resource, which we know our readers will find useful as they have to juggle so many competing demands and want to be able to access the right information, quickly.

‘Currently, Practice Intelligence contains seven topic areas but we will be expanding on those over the coming months, as well as adding in key data, for example on pay.’

Management in Practice is a free-to-use site for healthcare professionals working in primary care, that carries essential news updates, blogs and business information for GP practices and provides three newsletters a week.
