“My first time attending this kind of event and I really enjoyed it because I learned so much from the topics that were discussed. I would like to book for next year’s event!”

Nursing in Practice travel all over the UK to bring qualified primary care and community nurses free-to-attend, engaging and thought-provoking, events.

We welcomed 200 nurses to our Northampton conference, where they gained clinical knowledge and insight to take back and implement in their workplace. A whole range of topics were discussed, including sessions on diabetes, shingles immunisation and wound care.  Our nurses had the chance to reflect with colleagues and peers, hear from local speakers on latest developments for primary care, and spend time discovering the latest innovations to support their practice in our exhibition space.

We have already had fantastic feedback from the event attendees:

“The exhibition was quite resourceful and provided me with the opportunity to update my knowledge. The lectures were very interesting and informative.”

“It was an excellent and fun filled learning experience, the speakers were very enthusiastic, engaging, and funny and they were experts in their field! Thank you very much!”

We have plenty of events coming up for the rest of 2018 bringing the Nursing in Practice brand to your doorstep:

  • Nursing in Practice Manchester – 12th June 2018
  • Nursing in Practice Birmingham – 28th June 2018

  • Nursing in Practice Sheffield – 9th October 2018

Nursing in Practice events are conscious of bringing together the nursing community with key stakeholders from across the healthcare industry, with the event also offering an exhibition alongside the conference.

Leading pharmaceutical companies, charitable organisations and innovative providers were able to discuss the latest cutting-edge medications and showcase their products to the attendees.

Now in their 15th year, Nursing in Practice events are free-to-attend and are designed to support nurses in gaining participatory learning hours, building their knowledge, and helping them stay at the cutting-edge of the latest treatments and guidance.
