On 26th September our Events team were back at Olympia Conference Centre for the annual Management in Practice London conference.

Management in Practice London gave primary care professionals the chance to discuss the most pressing issues facing general practice as well as hearing from expert speakers on hot topics including:

  • Partnership Deeds and Declarations of Trust
  • How to handle patient complaints
  • Online consultations case study
  • Decreasing stress levels
  • Managing business risk
  • Accommodating personality types
  • Digital staff banks
  • Wellbeing
  • Performance concerns
  • Tensions during organisational change
  • QoF
  • Improving capacity
  • And more

We welcomed over 300 Practice Managers, GP Partners, Business Managers, IT Leads, Analysts, Administrators, Secretaries, and Directors at the event and we’ve had brilliant feedback already:

This is my second year of attending and I think better than before. I really enjoyed the focus on wellbeing bearing in mind the difficulties the health services is currently going through and I thought there was a lot of practical advice I could take back.

Well run, interesting and useful topics with tips to take away. Wellbeing was so refreshing to see take prime place.

Talks fascinating and thought provoking as covered wide range. We have made procurement changes as a result of the exhibition and I personally am amending the draft Deed we are drawing up as a result of one of the talks.”

Our team are busy working on the final event in 2019 and we will shortly be launching a brand new website and our 2020 dates, so keep your eyes peeled!
