Objectives

Care UK worked with Cogora in order to fill their GP vacancies. Pulse sits at the heart of general practice, giving clients access to one of the biggest communities of GPs across the UK. Choosing from one of the flexible advertising packages Pulse GP Jobs offers, Care UK were able to benefit from our audience at a competitive price.

Our approach

Care UK began a one year campaign with Pulse GP Jobs to start recruiting qualified salaried and locum GPs.

Job vacancies were posted on the website with geo-location, job role and salary tags, providing job seekers with a targeted set of job search results and therefore resulting in higher click through rates. Job postings were also displayed on the widget hosted on PulseToday.

Cogora built a bespoke mini-site on the Pulse GP Jobs site for Care UK. Mini-sites are able to host a range of resources for clients, including job vacancies, company information, articles, videos and contact information. This is an excellent platform for smaller recruitment companies to build their brand awareness and expand their reach. To support and drive traffic to the mini site, the campaign was complemented with advertising both online and in print.

Online marketing communications included display advertising on Pulse GP Jobs, adverts in our email newsletters and social media posts. Care UK were able to support their online presence with print inclusions in the monthly Pulse magazine, the UK’s most read GP magazine (NMRS, 2016). Alternate half page and quarter page ad positions were included in each month’s issue, distributed to over 35,000 GPs.

Outcome

As the only GP specific job board advertising in both print and online, Care UK was able to benefit from our audience of GPs to successfully fill their job vacancies.
