Objectives

In partnership with a pharmaceutical company, Cogora recruited healthcare professionals across England to two educational events in early 2023. This followed a series of eleven face-to-face regional events delivered throughout 2022.

Our approach

The programme, delivered as KOL-led educational meetings in live face-to-face and virtual formats (hybrid), provided secondary and primary care clinicians with evidence based medical education. The hybrid meetings addressed the practicalities of finding, initiating, and managing eligible patients for lipid optimisation, to overall improve outcomes for patients with cardiovascular disease.

Cogora assumed responsibility for the website development, as well as the design and development of marketing assets, and recruitment.

For recruitment, our marketing team promoted the events to our audience of primary and secondary care healthcare professionals – including GPs, practice nurses, community nurses, community pharmacists, cardiologists, and lipidologists. A combination of emails and online advertising were used via our media brands Pulse, Nursing in Practice, The Pharmacist, and Hospital Healthcare Europe. Retention emails were also sent to delegates who had registered, with reminders of the event timings.

Details of the event, including the agenda, speakers and timings, and registrations, could all be accessed via the website which was designed and developed in house by Cogora.

Our client was able to stay up to date with progress on recruitment, delegate attendance, HCP opt-ins, website traffic and marketing tactics via a bespoke analytics dashboard.

Outcome

  • 100+ delegates
  • 175+ HCP opt-ins

The two regional events welcomed 100 delegates and delivered over 175 HCP opt-ins for the client. Recordings of the events were then housed on the website to allow our community to access the content on-demand, supporting on-going engagement and maximise consumption.
