Studio Traffic Manager

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Traffic Manager to join our fast-paced creative Studio team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth and efficient workflow across multiple departments, including design, development, events, editorial, digital, and account management teams.

As Traffic Manager, you will be the lynchpin between creative production and delivery, managing schedules, prioritising workstreams, allocating resources, and identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks. You will also be responsible for quality checking (QC) outputs before delivery, ensuring all work is accurate, consistent, on-brand, and meets the required brief and standard.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the flow of all creative, development, data, content, and digital work from brief to delivery
  • Own and manage project timelines, schedules, and studio resource planning
  • Create and maintain a schedule for new jobs, and assign those tasks using the ticketing system in place – HappyFox
  • Liaise between internal teams and external suppliers/freelancers
  • Run daily stand-up meetings with the team to discuss workload
  • Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project status and deadlines
  • Perform quality control (QC) checks on creative and development outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and brief before release
  • Identify production inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
  • Identify any potential causes of delay early, and act to resolve any issues and help teams troubleshoot where necessary
  • Report to management about the current workflow, and communicate any possible capacity issues
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders across the business

Key skills

  • Proven experience in a traffic, production, or studio management role within a media, publishing, or marketing agency environment
  • Strong understanding of creative and digital production processes (e.g., print, digital, video, design)
  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
  • Understanding of healthcare, B2B, or regulated industries (preferred but not essential)
