Is it time for the GPC to get militant?

The January issue of Pulse looks at the growing calls among grassroots GPs for a stronger line from the BMA, with some preparing to propose that practices take industrial action later this month. It looks at the implications of a Pulse survey of over 900 GPs (covered in the Daily Mail and theTelegraph) that shows half would support a mass resignation from the NHS due to the current state of general practice. As the junior doctors prepare to take strike action, it looks like the Government could also face a fight on another front this coming year.
