Pulse Learning Seminars ran their first seminar of 2016 this week, on dermatology. Since the recent relaunch of Cogora’s Pulse Learning seminars, the sessions have attracted almost 90 delegates from across the country. Pulse Learning Seminars are one-day intensive trainings on a series of key clinical areas that GPs face on a day-to-day basis. Alongside dermatology, topics still to come include mental health, diabetes and CVD. Put together by the team behind Pulse magazine and Pulse LIVE, the events are designed specifically to give GPs a combination of in-depth clinical knowledge along with practical tips on structuring consultations, spotting symptoms, prescribing and referrals. The Pulse Learning Seminar on Dermatology took place at the Congress Centre in London on Tuesday 23rd February. Topics covered at the event included scalp psoriasis, rosacea, psychodermatology and dermatoscopy. Sessions were delivered by GPs and other specialists in dermatology from across the UK. Dr Victoria McCulloch said “Thank-you for the course yesterday; it was most informative and enjoyable”. A buzzing exhibition ran alongside the seminar, featuring a selection of the top providers supporting dermatology. Delegates enjoyed networking and meeting with the exhibitors during the event.
