Celebrating the achievements of the profession at the General Practice Awards
The General Practice Awards 2015 took place on the 26th November at the London Lancaster Hotel to honour, highlight and reward the hard work and innovation that gets carried out every day in surgeries up and down the UK.
Over 600 healthcare professionals attended the black tie gala evening and were able to catch up with peers and relax over drinks, a three-course dinner, music and even a photo booth!
The incredible host, Lucy Porter, really made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable and contributed to the friendly atmosphere of the evening. The comedian, famous in the UK and now internationally, added a fun note to the ceremony with her distinctive, bouncy, feel-good comedy.
The convivial and relaxed atmosphere was balanced by the appreciation of the audience of the serious aim of the evening to reward the individuals, teams and companies putting great effort in to delivering better care to patients.
The awards were presented by Lucy to the winners, who were chosen by our judging panel of over 40 healthcare experts.
