The Oncology Nursing in Practice platform sought to develop a medical education series which aims to drive measurable improvements in the clinical practice of oncology nurses.
Our needs assessment identified the following criteria: online format which is mobile device capable, and can be paused, restarted and completed in nurse’s own time.
Design and develop tailored, highly interactive education for oncology nurses to keep learners focused and thus improve learning outcomes. The platform has been developed to ensure that nurses have easy access to CPD accredited education to add to their professional development profile. The modules, which are 1-hour long, can be started and paused at any given point so that nurses are able to continue from their last place. The content is developed with selected expert nurse faculty to ensure all material is relevant to daily clinical practice.
