We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our lively team that organises face-to-face and virtual events for the largest primary healthcare media brands in the UK.

As the Events Marketing Executive you will work as part of the marketing team to promote our events and ensure successful attendance on the day. Working closely with the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for a number of events within our portfolio.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about event marketing and is able to hit the ground running by taking ownership of their own events as well as supporting the team with delegate management. This a great opportunity for someone with one to two years’ experience in an event marketing role who is looking for the next step.

Role Responsibilities

  • Writing marketing plans based on analysis of previous campaigns
  • Executing all aspects of the marketing campaign
  • Conducting research of the latest marketing trends to make sure we are keeping up with competitors
  • Writing creative briefs for in-house designers for marketing collateral
  • Maintaining event websites ensuring all content is up to date
  • Ensuring digital adverts are visible on all collateral including newsletters and websites
  • Managing social media campaigns including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
  • Copywriting including emails, website content, text messages, flyers etc
  • Scheduling email campaigns through Marketing Cloud
  • Managing all delegate liaison including taking registrations and dealing with queries
  • Attendance at events across the UK

Key Skills

  • Marketing degree – (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience of working within an event marketing team (ideally 1+ years)
  • Ability to draft marketing copy to a high standard
  • Excellent all-round communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • Outgoing personality with a confident and highly professional manner
  • Attention to detail and proactive attitude
  • IT literate
