Pulse Learning Seminars returned to London on 22nd June to bring GPs an interactive study day on diabetes. Over 100 delegates attended the event at the London Congress Centre where they heard from expert speakers on this complex and critical area of practice.
Pulse Learning Seminars are one-day intensive training days that focus on a series of key clinical areas that GPs face on a day-to-day basis. Alongside diabetes, this year’s seminars will also cover mental health, cardiovascular disease and women’s health.
Just some of the topic areas covered at the 2016 Pulse Learning Seminar on Diabetes included the latest NICE guidance update, individualised treatment and co-morbidities, as well as the more unusual areas such as diabetes and the skin and the fasting diabetic.
“The seminar was educative, well presented and inspiring.”
“Overall positive experience born out of interesting and relevant topics presented in a professional and at times humorous fashion with the duration of talks just about right.”
“Very informative and intense course delivered in a relaxed and friendly environment with a chance of networking with fellow colleagues.”
A buzzing exhibition ran alongside the seminar, featuring a selection of the top providers supporting dermatology. Delegates enjoyed networking and meeting with the exhibitors during the event.
Put together by the team behind Pulse magazine and Pulse LIVE, the events are designed specifically to give GPs a combination of in-depth clinical knowledge along with practical tips on structuring consultations, spotting symptoms, prescribing and referrals.
