Pulse editor wins prestigious industry award for second year running

Winner in the business magazine category, Nigel was recognised by the judges for editing a magazine that is 'punching above its weight, relevant and full of real investigative stories'. Meanwhile, Pulse reporters Alex Matthews-King and Caroline Price were both short-listed in the 'Scoop of the Year' category, for their investigations into cancer referrals and personal health budgets respectively and the Stop Practice Closures campaign was nominated for campaign of the year. This is the second time Mr Praities has been awarded by the BSME in the category, having also picked up the gong last year. Pulse was also named ‘Business Magazine of the Year’ at the Professional Publishers Association awards in July.
