Nursing in Practice visited Northampton for the first time on 31st May 2017. The event welcomed hundreds of primary care and community nurses from across the Midlands to a one-day free event at the Park Inn by Radisson Northampton.

This year’s agenda included a highly popular session from Dr Peter Carter who debated the contemporary issues facing nursing and health services across the UK and a number of clinical topics were covered including psoriasis, diabetes and the big topic, sepsis.

We have already had fantastic feedback from the event attendees:

“Absolutely brilliant event...very informative, thought provoking, I learnt loads from the day and the whole day was put together extremely well.”

“High quality informative event covering numerous contemporary Nursing subjects.
Forward thinking and inspiring speakers.”

“Excellent teaching on a variety of specialisms in a networking atmosphere. Also very affirming of our nursing profession - I came away quite excited to apply what I learned.”

We have a further six events taking place in 2017 at the following locations:

  • Nursing in Practice North East - 22nd June
  • Nursing in Practice Yorkshire – 19th September
  • Nursing in Practice London - 26th September
  • Nursing in Practice Bournemouth – 31st October
  • Nursing in Practice Birmingham – 7th November
  • Nursing in Practice Cardiff – 23rd November

Nursing in Practice events are conscious of bringing together the nursing community with key stakeholders from across the healthcare industry, with the event also offering an exhibition alongside the conference.

Leading pharmaceutical companies, charitable organisations and innovative providers were able to discuss the latest cutting-edge medications and showcase their products to the attendees.

Now in their 14th year, Nursing in Practice events are free-to-attend and are designed to support nurses in gaining participatory learning hours, building their knowledge, and helping them stay at the cutting-edge of the latest treatments and guidance.
