Nursing in Practice has been bringing nurses high quality conferences for over 13 years. Earlier this month, Nursing in Practice returned to the road to visit Liverpool, at the Adelphi Britannia Hotel, for its first event of the year.
Nursing in Practice events are free to attend for qualified primary care nurses and are designed to support them in gaining participatory learning hours, building their knowledge, and helping them stay at the cutting edge of the latest treatments and guidance.
Nursing in Practice Liverpool 2016 welcomed over 180 nurses from across the North West and Wales. With revalidation about to come into effect, the visiting delegates were briefed on the requirements needed to complete their portfolio, making the transition process as smooth as possible.
Attendees were able to learn and discuss current topics such as type 2 diabetes, sexual health, learning disabilities, plus much more. The event offered in-depth, cutting-edge seminars, interactive demonstrations and an educational programme that focused on key areas that are a priority for practices.
Some of the delegates shared their event highlights with us:
The Nursing in Practice events are also conscious of bringing together the nursing community with other key stakeholders from the healthcare industry, with the event also offering an exhibition alongside the conference.
Leading pharmaceutical companies, charitable organisations and innovative providers were able to discuss the latest cutting-edge medications and showcase their latest products to the attendees.
Nurses leave Nursing in Practice events feeling confident and inspired to provide the best possible standard of care to their patients.
