“A professionally organised event with quality presentations relevant to today’s general practice” – Mark Woodhouse
The first Management in Practice conference of the year took place last week in Manchester at the Bridgewater Hall. This year we saw over 370 Practice Managers, Practice Directors, and Administrators attend the event, with sessions full throughout the day.
There were many engaging topics on the programme this year, with particular interest surrounding the morning keynote panel on devolution, and Ben Saunders’ motivational speech on the importance of teamwork and how best to tackle challenges.
Other highlights included; avoiding harm in primary care – a session led by MDDUS, streamlining practice processes to maximise income for personally administered items and a panel session on what it takes to be an outstanding practice – with advice from practices who have received an outstanding CQC inspection.
The Management in Practice events team are conscious of bringing together the healthcare community with other key stakeholders from the industry, with the event offering an exhibition alongside the conference. Leading service providers and associationswere able to discuss the latest cutting-edge solutions and showcase their latest products and services to attendees.
