FLAME 2017: igniting enthusiasm for addiction medicine

A meeting to inspire and motivate the next generation of European addiction psychiatrists.

Objectives

Bring together early-career professionals from across Europe, and arm them with up-to-date knowledge and practical advice for success.

Our approach

We developed a 2-day meeting agenda that covered a real breadth of issues in addiction medicine – from treatment pharmacology and criminal justice healthcare systems, to blood-borne viruses and overdose prevention. The sessions, incorporating interactive voting and discussion activities, were presented by 15 renowned speakers from across Europe and bolstered by a practical workshop on submitting case reports for publication.

  • 91% rated their experience as good or excellent
  • 91% would recommend the meeting to a colleague
